At Bay Medical Aesthetics, we offer Fractional CO2 laser therapy using the DEKA fractional laser. This machine is made in Italy, TGA approved, and is renowned as one of the best in the world. The powerful laser stimulates the production of new skin cells, making it an ideal treatment to address scars, wrinkles, and signs of ageing.
Fractional CO2 laser is considered the gold standard laser treatment for deep wrinkles, photodamage, and depressed scars. It is a versatile technology that is able to penetrate within the deep layers of the skin to form collagen and elastin – which both play a vital role in skin remodelling.
CO2 resurfacing laser treatment creates microscopic laser punctures on the skins surface, promoting microcirculation and new cell genesis. With regular treatment, scar tissue and skin texture is renewed.
These microscopic laser punctures trigger the healing response, resulting in the damaged skin cells renewing through genesis. In the process, skin becomes tighter as collagen production is stimulated. In the months aeer undergoing fractional CO2 laser, your skin will continue to improve. This treatment has the ability to make you look 5 to 10 years younger!
The procedure is safe with a low risk of side effects, all of which are temporary and minor. There is minimal limitation to daily activities, meaning you can resume your day immediately post- treatment. Care must be taken to maintain the skin clean, hydrated and allergen/irritant free.
